got my first oaster shell today!

i finally got my birds some oaster shell and am now wonder how do i feed it to them? and how much? should i mix it in with their chicken food stew i make em?

Just put it in a separate dish and let them eat it whenever they choose. Its not feed so dont mix it!

They should be laying or about to lay. Usually they will only eat it if they are lacking calcium and their body needs it, they seem to know. Just leave it out in a separate dish, what ever size you want.
