This is Zima my first ever reptile! She's a beautiful crested (or eyelash) gecko. She lost her tail when a cat broke open her enclosure, but she's so cute without it! She's my little frogbutt <3

This is what she looks like "fired up" or her full color

I wanted a leopard gecko a while back, but never made the commitment because of the crickee bugs I'd have to be ranching all the time... EEEEWWWW.
She's really cute.

That's why I love these guys...NO BUGS. All's you have to feed them is Allen Repashy's Crested Gecko Diet! You can give them treat crickets every once in awhile...but it's not necessary

Ooooooh! INTERESTING. Verrrry interesting...
*evil cackle*

Nah, I have so many animals anyway, with plans to hopefully expand, that I wouldn't be able to have a lizard too.
Do these guys need heat lamps and special lights like other herps, or are they nocturnal like Leopard geckos and don't need the fancy equipment?
I'm too lazy to Google it.

As long as you mist them morning and night, give them fresh food every other night, and keep your house around 70 degrees, no more equipment necessary! They are one of the most low maintenance reptiles there are.

That's not too bad! Unfortunately I'd need a heat lamp or pad for the guy in my chilly house!

Edited a failed smiley, heh heh...

We got one for our 12yo last August. I have to say, it is the EASIEST animal to care for. Ours in right next to a window in our living room and we haven't had any heat on it. Our nights got pretty cold (well as cold as we get in SoCal) and it was just fine. Really cool to play with too, they are more friendly than some of the other geckos I've been around.
