got my first shell less egg today..

Ugh nasty stuff.. the egg yolk , egg white and shell that looked like a deflated balloon was all there tho.. so I am not to concerend about it. They been laying everyday so I think she just got a bit worn out in her egg maker. I upped the oystershell to food ratio .. that should do it I hope.
Its just messy and I hate cleaning that up..yuck

She must have layed it at night cause I checked last night and it wasnt there .

The first time I grabbed one of those shell-less eggs out of the nestbox, I almost screamed it felt so weird.
Plenty of oyster shell should fix the problem.

I have an older hen that lays very thin shelled eggs lately. Guess she hasn't gotten the memo about oyster shell. So I sprinkle a little powdered milk on there veggies for a little extra calcium. Seems to help.
