It was pretty lucky that I could find a couple of litters of good looking pups out of good looking, working parents but it was also a bunch of looking and driving. One of the pups was about 150 miles away, the other was about 90 miles. They are really good pups and very calm. The turkeys and guineas are not real sure yet about these pups. I was out this morning collecting eggs and feeding and Clyde was right with me. I feed some scratch treats in the morning. The turkeys eat it out of my hand and the pup just kept getting closer and closer. They are warming up to eachother.

Colby, I too, recently lost a dog.
She (Sophie, part pyr) & my male pyr were a great team. One night last Nov she went after a pack of coyotes and never came back. She knew all the holes in the fences, and crossed 2 neighbor's properties, after those 'yotes. My male couldn't follow, he was too big for the fence holes.
Now my male is on guard duty all my himself.
I've spent the last 3 1/2 months looking for a partner for my boy and FOUND a little lady (12 1/2 weeks old) just last week.
I guess we're in the same boat!!!
I want my little girl to grow up fast to help with 'ranch security'. Mr. Biggles can't do it all my himself!!

Your pups are beautiful!! Best of luck!!

Christine : )
