Got my new Ratties! *PICS ADDED*

Well i lost both my girls last month, and my house has felt so empty.
So finally, today, i was able to go to the pet shop and found that they had two girls left, they wouldnt be getting any more rats in for about three weeks.

At first I just wanted to look at this fancy doe they had, she is a dark brown ( almost black ) mink. I got her, since she was friendlyand seemed easy to work with.
Then the guy asked if I wanted to look at the hairless...
Dont get me wrong I love rats, but the hairless just sort of.... looked .. not cuddly? I guess i could say that.

I ended up getting her out and she was a total sweet heart!
So I now have two little girls to play with

Unfortunalty - the whole reason I was introduced to rats is here. ( My Grand mothers dog ate my hamster and when my mom went to get me another she came home with a rat instead)


So I have to keep the gate up on my door.

When do we get to see pics?

I had a hairless, I had 5 rats total (not all at the same time), and the hairless was by far my favorite! He was one of the first, he was always so happy to see me, when I came home he'd greet me standing in his hammock and I always had to pick him up and cuddle him abit, but he didn't want to get far from his cage.

I didn't have much luck w/ the rats, they all died way to young.

They're beautiful! I've got 3 rats myself, a black hooded, a blue agouti hooded and a chocolate Berkshire.

They're adorable! I had 2 rats that looked just like those! Rats are very smart, and sweet, unlike hamsters! Love hamsters too, but rats are better!
