I love rats!
I'm currently taking a break from breeding rats to my pregnancy, but between me and my husband we have 20 rats total. I've been breeding for 5 years, and they make the best pets ever

I'm glad you got two, since rats do so much better in same sex pairs.

Last year I would of gave you my rats lol. They got very annoying to say the least. I had 3 albino hairless females and 1 dumbo eared satin albino male. Within a month's time I had twice that many.

You can come over any time your in Missouri and in my area

Rats reproduce very quickly. They can get pregnant within hours of giving birth and young females can get pregnant at 4 weeks.

Oh I love love love ratties! My DH does not. I've never owned a female, but have decided that next rattie will be a female cause well...they don't pee on you every other inch.

We had a hairless and let me tell you they're definately cuddly. My Mortimer thought he was a dog. He ran all over the floor of my sons room and would stop to lick my sons hand while he played video games.

marebear is your russian dove chocolate or mink based dove? Can you pm me a picture? We're having an argument out here in the west coast about them xD If it really is homo for russian blue and homo for either mink or chocolate, i'd love a pic!

I have 3 boys I recently acquired myself...planning on getting some girls some time this year as well and trying my hand at breeding

I've been breeding mice for about 4 or 5 years now.

My boys are a blue velveteen berk, a mink siamese tailless carrier, and a dumbo double rex beige/buff tailless (both parents were also blue, so he should be blue under the beige). The blue boy is the big pee monster....the other 2 aren't bad...lol
