Got my pair of Valleys

Man, I wish my friends sister didnt fry my cameras batt charger . . .
I just got my 1st pair of Valley Quail over the weekend!

These are such beautiful birds.
They are somewhat flighty for sure, but I think the location of their cage under the low-hanging trees will help settle them down.

I cant wait till I start hearing that quail call!

This pair is still young, and was told they are not yet laying.

Wow congrats! $35 for a pair it's not bad at all and there young so thy means a lot of eggs for you in the next years. Where did you get them from I've been wanting to buy some but can't find anybody selling the adults right now.

Got them from a local guy here.
Hes a total hill-billy mountain-man.

I dont think he even has a computer . . . or electricity for that matter . . .
Ill see him again in a week or so, Ill ask him if he has any more.

Where is Mecca?
I know there is a guy on CL that breeds and sells them, but he is in San Diego, Ca.
He will ship and seems like hes on the up and up.
Thats how I got my price from this guy, he didnt know what to charge so I told him I found a guy that would sell me pairs for $35 but theyd have to be shipped . . .
He matched the price, I shoulda said $20 . . .
