I got a 6am wake-up call this morning from my PO to let me know that my chicks had arrived. (who knew they were even open that early...)
ALL 20 chicks are alive and happy! I can't believe they all made it after 2 days in the freezing temperatures!
I got 3 Silver Laced Wyandotte pullets, 4 RIR pullets, 1 replacement 236 Leghorn pullet, 2 Buff Orpington pullets, 2 Buff Orpington males, and 8 Buff Orpington male warmers. Gosh I wish I had known I'd be getting BO males as extras... I wouldn't have bought 2 males! Ah well.
2 of the BOs have a green mark on their head, it says they are the females, I hope they are right b/c I'll be re-homing all 8 extra BO males.
Pictures soon...
EDIT W. PICS......
In their brooder. A friend came by this morning and got 7 of the extra males (I meant to give her all 8 but forgot one! LOL)
Buff Orpington males
Silver Laced Wyandotte pullets... SO pretty!
