Got my very first egg!!!

When did you get them?
Got mine on Easter so only 10-11 weeks old.

Congratulations. DH and I still report how many eggs we have gotten from the hen house and they have been laying over 7 months.

if the first egg my hens laid would have been golden I couldn,t have been any more proud,,all the work,the feed,protecting them from everything thats always trying to eat them,all for the thrill of the first egg?????yes its worth it,,

Second egg today too.. I have 11 assorted hens that were hatched on Feb. 11th. Tiny little things so far. Light tan colored.
