got our first egg yesterday

our black australorps were 17 weeks 6 days old yesterday. got one great egg finally. just like Christmas!!!

Thats IT! I'm getting Astrolorps! My 22 week old leghorns, Americaunas and Black sexlinks havent laid an egg yet!!!

You are so lucky to have such diligent egg layers! LOL

Thanks, we shared the egg and it was really great! some of our other 5 black australorps are getting ready to lay. the 3 EE's aren't ready quite yet but hopefully it won't be long.
