Big yes on the egg cutters, so much easier than using a knife. You can use a serrated knife to saw off the top and pour out the contents but the cutters make it so much neater, way less stray pieces of shell in the egg. And faster too, nice when you have 20+ eggs to open for a brunch.
Those of you with jumbos do you have any trouble using cutters on the bigger eggs? It seems the cutters don't get quite enough of the egg top off so the yolk does not come out easily. Almost like there is more of a vacuum in the big eggs. A bit of shaking gets the yolk out eventually, and most of the time without breaking yolk. My SO works in a metal shop so he's going to try enlarging the hole in the cutters a bit to see if that helps the problem.
