Thanks again. I got some oyster shell pieces from Tractor Supply and put it in a dog bowl in the Run. The Splash went right to it and began eating it just like food. It is really interesting how instinct and nature come into play.......my understanding now is that it is better to keep feeding the grower food and not to feed the layer feed, but rather just keep the oyster shells in a bowl for supplementation. Do y'all agree?
