Got our first egg!!

Congratulations!!!! It's so exciting, isn't it. I just got my very first egg ever a week or so back and I'm still grinning about it. I'm getting one a day since and the other 3 are looking close to lay, so the excitment continues!

Sweet! I fried up the first eggs for dh. I wanted to see the yolk and compare it to a store egg like others talk about.

It's always so exciting when you get that first egg! A few hens that one of my chickens hatched out this summer just started laying, and I get excited every time I find a tiny egg in the best box

I have a theory, i would think the biggest girl? she is quite weighty in comparison to the others but i could be totally off my mark, and they ain't talking

So fun! yeah, haven't gotten any eggs after that second one but the temp plummeted.
