I got a MONSTER egg from my red sex link Etta the other day. I couldn't even close the egg carton it was so big. Well, my hubby brought me breakfast in bed and said that that big ol egg had a double yolk! Too bad he cooked it before I got a pic

You are so lucky! I have some real good layers, 3 Leghorns and 11 RIR's and none of them have ever laid a double-yolker! Some of the RIR eggs have been REALLY BIG (3 ounces or more) but still no double yolks. I keep on hoping for just one--hope you get many more! Genie
