Its been almost 3 years since I've had chicks and I'm so excited to have some new babies! Got a sapphire olive egger and a easter egger. Cant wait to see what they look like as they grow, never had these types before.
Brooder set up is a 120 gal aquarium with red heat lamp. Got the food and water on a sheet of plywood to keep the shavings out. Using aspen shavings. The easter egger is very active and eating and drinking, the olive egger is a little lethargic, but I'm hoping it's just the stress of shipping and transport and that she'll perk up.

Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
. Apparently all the sapphire olive eggers the feed store got in died, but they allowed me to exchange for a new chick so now I have 2 EEs
