Got Spitzhauben eggs from ebay but they dont have crests (pic)

I have a sptizy in the brooder right now... 4 days old! I it looks like the previous picture posted by patchesnposies ..at 4 days.. no comb but they are grey and yellow. Now, I know your chicks are older but there is not a speck of grey on them.... I don't think so.... without that poofy comb, I dunno... maybe they are mixes? Sorry....

Well I sent him a message saying look heres the chicks this is the thread I am talking on please come here and look and talk to me about it. Unfortunately you can only leave feedback about the eggs that arrived to you like were they broken that kinda thing. I really dont know bout getting more eggs cause I am gonna be at about 30 chickens counting the ones in the bator I could sell point of lay hens sure but want eggs. Guess kinda mad if someone intentionally is out there selling barnyard mix as purebreeds to make some cash.

they look like delawares to me.

I thought so too, at first. But some of his seem like they might have rose combs and not single combs. I have some Dellies. They are great birds.

That would be interesting to see! Maybe we can convince him to post pictures as they grow? lol

What say you, Kavellion?

This is Spitz-Girl at about 4 days old. I apologize I have no photos of her as a 'tween. They grow so fast; my next pix of her are as a young lady pullet, fully grown. I got her as a day old from My Pet Chicken I believe, pet quality perhaps but I only wanted her as a friend for my Spitz roo, not for showing or breeding. She never looked anything like yours. Yours are adorable though, and I hope they live happily ever after whatever happens.

A they hatched from white eggs so - never thought of that as Delawwares are brown egglayers. Still have not heard from the seller.
