Yeah we would've done a run if we started from scratch but the people who lived here before us used an old building as a coop and it already had everything in there so it seemed silly to start all over. In a few years we will probably knock it down and build a run where it was. But only time will tell. Thanks for the advice tho! Looks like ill be keeping them in there for a while. They r not going to he happy.

I'm a bit confused by your first statement here. How big is the coop? The run is the fenced in OUTSIDE area for the birds to be. Most folks attach a run to their coop.

Sorry was a bit frazzled when i wrote it. A lot going on. I understand what youre saying. The way our land is though is we can't make a run from the coop. Theres no way. We thought about tearing the building down and building a coop somewhere further in the field but we thought it would be silly to just let this coop go to waste for now. So we're putting it off for a few more years.

Could you make a run a bit away from the coop, and attach it to the coop with a "chunnel"?
