Got twelve eggs but no hatching

Hi a neighbour have me twelve eggs for mu hens to lool after that wad on back holiday Monday 21days are up I'm to scared just to crack one and see what is inside its my first time what do I do?

Hi there guys being the kindist out of my heart this morning I cracked one open and there was a chick inside developed hope by the 27 of may they will be here or i will b telling my neighbour thanks for your welcome guys on here
