This is my FBCM. She is 22 weeks and has a 2-3 finger separation between her pin bones. She's gotta be close right???
 
Maybe! I waited a long time for mine, which matured as the days were getting short. My BA looked ready for months, it seemed, before she finally started laying at 35 weeks. Hopefully yours will get with the program sooner since the days are getting longer. Also, only 2 of my 5 layers will squat, so that's not always an indicator.
 
Not all birds will squat.
With 2-3 finger pin bones, she gotta be close.
Starting this thread may trip the trigger(haha!).

Do you free range?
Have the coop nests been explored(ie: bedding all messed up)?

They have limited free range of our backyard, which I have checked pretty thoroughly, and yes, the best boxes have been disturbed.

I have 3 laying hens and 3 pullets all near point of lay. The 3 laying hens all lay in 1 of my 4 nest boxes, but a different one has been quite tossed lately with no egg. So
