Gouldian Finch eggs in the 'bator! Pics!!

The three eggs my Gouldians had were not hatched after 3 weeks, so I candled them and there was nothing growing. So, I cleaned out the nest, and they reupolstered it.

You are going to have to feed them with a tooth pic every hour,
my wife has done this and didn't get any sleep for three weeks

Here is a picture of the happy "Foster Father" sitting on the Gouldian eggs. He is a solid white Society Finch.

Bad news!! The eggs didn't make the switch from incubator to nest. I guess the temp change was too much. Shucks!! So, no babies.

I guess the best thing would have been to let them hatch in the bator and then move them to the nest. I guess we live and learn, but the curve really bites!!!
