Gourd seeds

Hi yall, hope this is the right place to post this

I was wondering since gourds are related to pumpkins, would gourd seeds be good to worm my flock???

I would think so, but I don't really know and have not tried. Gourds are just a form of squash like pumpkin that is what I have heard, anyone else?
