Govee accuracy

I have five govees and they all read different. I've tried the calibration thing and they're just wonkier than ever now. Any advice? Two are brand new as of yesterday. None of them match what's on my incubators internal temp and humidity and I have no idea what to trust. I just know I have some really expensive eggs in my incubator that I would hate to lose over these discrepancies. Any advice is appreciated. Is there any other recommendations that I can get quickly?

The picture below is all five of them sitting near my house thermostat which is set at 69 and you can see that they're not even reading according to it. I am so frustrated!

First of all, they look very consistent to me. Secondly, I have had 3 Govees but a different model (H5074). But I have great faith in them. Thirdly, IMHO, incubator controls are not always very accurate (even though they should be). That is probably the reason most come with instructions on calibration.
You'll also notice how consistent the humidity readings are. That is even less common with hygrometers.
Home thermostats are not that accurate either.
What I'd like to know is when these are in the incubator, what do they read, what is the set point on the incubator and what is the temperature reading on the incy.
Until you give that information, I would advise to believe the govee reading over the incubator.
Also, do all this at near 100 (preferably 99.5)
This is because not all thermometers are accurate at all temperatures so the test is better performed at the temperature it will be used.
Good luck!

I guess to me, they should all read the same. There is a whole degree or more variance on some of their reading which can affect a hatch.

I definitely don't trust the incubator readings. I haven't for years. I gave up worring and am just going by the govee's in each incubator and hoping for the best.

My recommendation is to trust the Govee and ignore anything related to the incubator. Does the incubator have a calibration feature?
I agree that one degree can affect the hatch but as long as that degree is one off of ideal (99.5) they will still hatch.
I've had close to 1F variance between the Govees. Don't yours report 10ths of a degree? If so you have a better handle on it.
Are you using all 5 in the same incubator?
Do all your thermostat and thermometer tests at near 100F.
Your best bet is to identify the one that is closer to the average of all 5 and that is your gold standard to start. Then try to keep that one at 99.5 throughout an entire hatch, starting with fresh eggs of the same size and age. If the eggs all hatch at exactly 21 days, that is your best thermometer. If they are early, the temperature was higher throughout. If late, it was low.

I have them spread between 2 incubators. The eggs are emu eggs, also in both incubators. They can be incubated from 96 to 98. I hatched out emu in both last year but didn't recall the same issues with the variance in the thermometers. I am just going to trust they are reading close enough, adjust as needed and hope for a hatch!

Trust the Govees. Not the incubator.
