You are about a 13 hour and 20 min. drive from me.... 791.72 miles....

Anyone else on east coast want a puppy that seriously wants to plan a road trip? I don't drive but I can provide company and gas money.
Would need about $192 round trip for gas money.

I am real tempted and only about 2 hours from you, but my husband will kill me! I am going to have to do some sweet talking. a question for all of you--if they are working/livestock dogs do they just stay outside all the time? I am used to indoor/companion dogs. I have a paddock that the chicken coop and run is in, so the pup could stay in there. There is a horse shelter for shade, plus trees and I could get a dog house for winter. What do you all think?

If I remember right, that is a female, and I have several with both blue eyes, and another one with a half blue/half dark eye. I have 3 males, and 5 females left as of now.

You can bring these dogs inside, but they won't be happy spending a lot of time inside as a rule. The mother to these likes to be inside to a point, but the father, the GP hates it. It is best to raise these with your fowl if you want them to be good livestock dogs. They have the capability in their blood if given the chance. Even my female, the shepherd mix is pretty good with chickens, she just can't be trusted around the game birds.

Oh Please don't tempt me! I am in somerset, ma (one town between me and the RI border) I just got my chickens after 4 years of whining. I think it would be divorce court for me if I got a puppy! (We already have a dog, and a shedder, too!)

That pup is a female. The males are the white one with patches on it's eyes, and the two all brindle ones. The rest are females.
