Recently bought a used GQF 1200 cheap and dramatically increased my hatch rate from the previous styrofoam incubator. Problem is it only has the three turning trays and no hatching tray so I've been using styrofoam as the hatcher. Has anyone converted a 1200 to a 1202? Was thinking about either disconnecting the bottom tray from rotating or moving the bottom 2 up and adding a whole new bottom tray. Anyone have any thoughts??

Well if you stop the bottom from turning and add a hatching tray, then the "middle" rack will hit the bottom rack----so that's not going to work. You could remove the bottom turner rack and add a hatching tray close to the bottom---that would work. None of my cabinets incubators have a hatching tray----only the hatcher hatches----I personally would not want it any other way.
