GQF #1202 question

On the 1202 do you take the eggs out of the set trays after 18 days and move them to a hatch tray in the bottom of the bator or could you just turn off the turner and leave them in the set tray?I went on the GQF website and got the manual for the 1202 and that how it tell you to do is move the eggs to a hatch tray. Thank for any help. DK

Take them out, the chicks will fall off the trays and hurt themselves

Agreed. Take the turner out. The chicks can get legs caught in between the rails and all kinds of bad stuff can happen to the babies. Good luck in your hatch.

yes hatching tray, you could cover the turning tray and turn the auto turner off , if you need more room. if not you will have chicks everywhere ,when you open the door
