GQF 1588 Genesis Killed 40 eggs

I have a 2 year old gqf 1588 genesis that was running fine and stabilized then the temperature spiked to 105 and killed the eggs. Very disappointing since I had quite a bit of $$$ invested in BC Marans eggs. I guess I need to replace the computer on the incubator? Or is it the heater and fan that should be replaced?

If it actually jumped, then the heater need to be replaced. If it didn't and the screen just said it did, then the computer.

Sorry that happened. I have a 1588 and never had a problem one out of it but Brinsea has their 20 Advanced on sale. I just ordered one

105 isn't always fatal, did you give them a chance?

40 eggs that's alot of eggs to be losing Sorry about your lost.

the proteins in the egg have begun to breakdown, i cracked open an egg, two brown spots and the yolk is completely liquidated. i.e. soft boiled egg.
