GQF Incubator question..

There is a guy on CL who is selling a GQF sportsman incubator, and I was wondering what I should be looking for when I go down and see it. He wants 300 for it, is that good? What questions should I ask? Any good model numbers I should look out for?
Please let me know. I want to go get it on Tuesday or so...

$300 is a good price. Here is the GQF website so you can check model numbers:

- Ask how old it is.
- Ask if the heating unit works properly.
- Ask if it comes with the humidity package (you want that even if it doesn't, order one from GQF.)
- Ask how the seal is on the door.
- Ask if he's disinfected it (you should do so anyway even if he says he has.)
- Ask if he's NPIP (if so there will be a certain level of freedom from disease you can expect.)

If all else is good, go for it! I love mine...

Yep. A large bucket with gasket, hoses, and link to the water tray inside. Well worth having, IMO.
