Graduating to a "real" coop!!!

Well, I convinced my hubby that we needed more chickens, he said 6 for now. Went out and got them and then pointed out that the chicken tractor we currently have for our 4 current residents would be too small and maybe it was time to build a coop.

So, he finally did since I can't move the little guys, now 6 weeks old, outside with the bigger ones because of no room. We also free range our flock and the little ones would be at the mercy of the hawks in the area, so they need to be penned until the are big enough. So her we go!!!

Will add more as we finish, but I didn't think a bad start for an afternoon! So much fun and my DS and I are picking out colors for the exterior.
