grain mill

looking for recommendations for a grain mill. We have started to produce our own feed and need to mill it.

Something to chop up straw and something to grind up oats and corn.

I don't want to brake the bank, only feeding about 100 mouths a day.

Grain mills ain't cheap and I don't know of any that both chop straw and mill grain. This might work for milling your grain. You can even hook your cordless drill to it instead of hand cranking.

I seen some of these on Amazon. any manufacture preference? What about chopping up straw, ideas?

No preference. I just figured it would work for you. Lots of folks seem to prefer a Wonder Mill for homemade flour, etc. Straw choppers are even more expensive than grain mills. Personally, I would just run my lawnmower over it, hit it with a hedge trimmer, or even throw it in a Rubbermaid tote and beat the heck out of it with a weed whacker.
