i feeze, do locking plastic bins, and locking larger garbage bins on wheels for the big stuff.

and I was going to add...I've found their little cocoons on the backsides of my pictures or paintings in the house.

Are you SERIOUS, maplesky? That is an excellent tip. I'm off to look at the backs of things. Because I'm just dying to spend more time on all this. Sigh.

I agree with the freezing. When I had a lot of house birds, i.e.: Senegals, Parakeets, Cockatiels, etc... we had these moths everywhere.

I froze all new food coming in at least three days, and then vaccuum packed the bulk extra. It took us about 4 weeks, but we finally got them under control.

I went gung ho a few times and threw out a bunch of stuff in my cabinets too and with the scrubbing...so far...

You know what else helped...my dove died.

Sad but true. No more birds in the house.
