Grapefruit Seed Extract & Blackhead

I was just wondering if anyone had ever heard of using grapefruit seed extract to treat Blackhead? I know that the desease is caused by a parasite grouped as a protozoal. I've just been online looking for the cheapest place to buy GSE for personal reasons and stumbled across a link that states it's an effective antiprotozoan... Luckily my turkeys all recovered but I'd definitely consider giving the GSE a go if I were to ever need to find a solution to blackhead again. It's not cheap but cheaper that metronidazole here in the UK...

Any experience anyone?

I don't know about GSE, but I've been reading about your work with your turkeys. It sounds like you're in the UK, and I wondered if you'd looked into Herban (which contains oregano oil), which is available in the UK but not USA.

I've also been reading that extracts from cinnamon, garlic, lemon, and rosemary may be effective preventive or curative treatments.

I'm hoping to find out about dosing these herbs.
