That doesn't look too bad. I had to help a gosling out recently and his tummy wasn't much better than yours is. My gosling was a little weaker than the other ones at first but is fine now. Just keep the poor little thing as quiet, still, and warm as possible. Don't let the others pick at it. If it would happen to pull loose and start bleeding you can always apply light pressure with a Q-tip to help stop the bleeding. Pressure from the Q-tip for an extended period of time can also help the belly close a little faster.

Hey deerman, no her chick didn't make it, but she has another under her hen that hatched and dried and two more that have pipped! She has another thread on here somewhere. LOL
 
I had one kick out too early and have that, I made him a little "plastic sleeping bag" of that "press-n-seal" wrap they have out now, left a small gap for air and the "sleeping bag" kept him moist and contained until he absorbed the blood and it all closed off.

I'll do that again because I spent a LOT less time trying to keep him from kicking out and from drying out. In his little faux egg, he had to just hang out and wait.
