In the Brooder
Hello All
I lost one of my favourite chickens the other day. She had been standing for some time as though she were egg bound and I had done all the usual remedies, warm baths, calcium etc. However this was all to no avail. She seemed to become progressively less mobile and in the end, although bright eyed and being hand fed, eventually stopped eating and drinking and passed with 24 hours. I was very concerned to find out what caused her passing as she was only a 3.5 year old Lemon Pyle Brahma, so not very old at all. I have attached pictures of her internal organs. She was moulting at the time and so had stopped laying, indeed, her ovary is very small, with no yolks attached. Any ideas would be helpful.
Regards
