Grass & cover for new pen

I am starting to put together my plans for new flight pens for my pheasants and peafowl. I want to add in some good cover for them, but not sure where to start. Any good recommendations? Looking at grasses, shrubs, trees, really anything... the pheasant outdoor runs will likely end up being 12’x25’

there is an outdoor poultry cover on a website called omlet. Go check that web out, I think it'll help you.

Conifers and switch grass are your best bet. Anything else is probably going to get eaten or trampled to death.
