Every time I get on here, I realize there's a post I've somehow missed. I LOVE the clover idea. I'll have to see if I can get that growing in my zone. I don't see it here as I did when I was a little kid in the Midwest. I used to love laying in clover! The big Bumble Bees loved it, too!
I think I will take the extension advice and ask about grasses and throw in some of the grain grasses that were talked about and clover. And then maintain it all properly. It just sounds like so much fun! Thank all of you so much! I really appreciate everyone's responses.
