Ammunition is in short supply. If homeland security is buying 1.9 billion rounds, just how many times do they think they have to shoot us? The Social Security Administration is supposed to be buying 174,000 rounds. I have to wonder about other agencies. Do you suppose they are that bad of marksmen?

I am afraid we will find out soon. If the dollar crashes and the government cannot or will not fund the EBT and food stamp cards, or worse, the money they drop into those accounts won't buy anything due to inflation from too much "quantative easing," it will really hit the fan. Those people will not be denied. Now the question is just who gets shot by whom?

It would be a good time to be out of the country.

.22 is a market issue. Go to your walmart about sun up an you will see where the .22 ammo is going. If you have been on line buying .22 at inflated prices you are paying groups of people to go to walmart an other stores when the shipments come in so they can buy them out. That keeps the demand up so they can turn a profit online. Easy $$$ for every person in line in walmart at 6am.

Another tid-bit of info I just read about,,back when Boris Yeltzin was the soviet leader,and their country was so,so broke,and disarmament of nuclear warheads was on the worlds mind,he agreed to sell the uranium they had to the USA for the next 20 years from their nuclear stockpiles for $20 Billion dollars.On Dec 30th.2013 this contract expires,and the now leader of the USSR,Putin will not be supplying us with uranium,which we have been using in our nuclear power plants,at a tune of 40 million pounds per year.Many analysts are telling people who buy "Penny stocks" to heavily invest in Uranium associated companies,that either mine or distribute reactor grade Uranium. The USA does not have the necessary Uranium stores to feed our nuclear power plants.We are at the mercy of buying it elsewhere,and Soviet Russia is one location where Uranium stores are plentiful.Granted,we may have more natural gas than we can ever use,but most of our electrical power comes from nuclear reactors.Our electrical grid system has not been updated for decades.
If our current administration has the same attitude of "There will be no negotiations" I wonder how long before the people here get cold enough,to take things into their own hands? Putin is a very intelligent man,not given near enough credit. Months ago our country was concerned that North Korea had a device that would disable our entire electrical grid system by exploding a nuclear device high in the stratosphere above the USA,there may not be any electrical grid to take down,if we cannot even generate electricity.

I am afraid nuclear power is a dead end. All it took was a couple of accidents and a tsunami to kill a good idea.

My worry is who will be buying enriched uranium from Russia now. I see the Russians have agreed to help Iran build another reactor. That is not good news.

Gaza is just about 35 miles from Tel Aviv. Jerusalem is 30 miles from Tel Aviv. A nuclear weapon laid on Tel Aviv would take out Ramallah and probably Amman, Jordan also. Things would be very unfavorable for Damascus, Beirut, and everywhere else in the area. The mideast is such a small theater of war, a nuclear bomb is a totally inappropriate weapon for the area.

So just for whom are the Iranis crafting their bomb? I am afraid it is us.

Rufus, I don't know if you have been keeping track of all the high brass Generals that O'Bama has recently let go,because they do not see things his way,,but does anyone remember about 2 months ago,the reported earthquake off the east coast of the USA? I think we have a true "nuttbag" as President,as he was trying to get the US public to think,Iran finally had nuclear capabilities,and bombed the continental USA,,but it does seem we still have people in high places that don't just carry out orders,no matter how wild they are.Here is 3 news links,that covers possibly a reason why the US Govt had been,or still is stockpiling weapons,ammunition,and fortifying FEMA Camps.

Once again,our govt seems to be working against us,those who elected them into office.Part of our huge debt was on a wild goose chase in Iraq for WMD's,,that never once existed,and seems many high govt. officials knew this for a fact,before we invaded Iraq the second time,as well documented on several TV shows.
If for some reason this president gets us into another war,(and quite delibrately) will this wipe out our worldwide debt? Will it employ the unemployed,as was the case when we entered WW2? People are already struggling enough so will a state of national emergency help?

It has been uncovered that last year O'Bama was wanting to attack Iran,but when China and the Russians threatened retaliation,we backed down.The US people are war weary and probably wouldn't supprt another war,but likely to do so if a clever false attack could fool us "sheep" When Snowden defected this was of NATIONAL Importance,and should never be underestimated.Putin controls the release of this classified information from Snowden,,and there is more,much more to come. The above stories are very well documented and I now think,this is why ammunition was,and possibly still is being stockpiled,,something else is coming,

2+ feet of snow in Colorado is normal, 2+ inches of snow in Riverside Calif. would be a disaster.
