We should start with The Fed.

I heard about that. A shame that we've got that in our gold stash now. MrB warns me about it all the time. We prefer silver... Gold is for kings; silver, for gentle folk.

What worries me more than not having the questions answers... Is why are we having to ask this in the first place?

I have to wonder just how much gold is left in Fort Knox? If you watch Kitco Gold, the price always seem to creep up, until the market opens on the east coast. Then the price drops just about the time that government bureaucrats are done with their morning coffee.

Where do you get that buying real estate is counted as exports ?
It's counted as capital investment.

Gold is for jewelry and some manufacturing, nothing else.
 
Considering the alleged terrorists were allegedly trained by US military in 2012, it sounds like we had something to do with the misery...

Oh, come on. Lighten up a little. At some point, you just have to sit back and laugh at the behavior of our country towards the rest of the world.

Look, if you want to believe that "everything is okay" and "this time it's gonna be different," you have every right to.

The stock market WILL crater, and we are on the downslope headed towards it. We are coming up on echo bubbles from the dotcom and housing bubble crashes. The last time the Dow reacted this way at the beginning of the year was in 2001 and 2008. I don't think we need a history lesson regarding what happened in those years.

Corporations are *buying back their OWN stock* to make their profit margin look good. It's all over-inflated, fake, and it WILL fail eventually. Here's a nice little article that breaks down how QE is *NOT* helping the American economy.

Remember some years ago when they sent out STIMULUS checks to everyone? Did you spend it or put it in the stock market? That's all I'm saying.

Recessions and depressions can take DECADES to play out, and be even more catastrophic if the Powers That Be continue to draw this out. We need a hard reset. Soon.

And as for the "terrorists," there is video (clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dqn0bm4E9yw) of Hillary Clinton admitting before Congress that in the 80s, the CIA trained some military units in the Middle East to fight USSR. They took that training and became what we know today as Al Qaeda. As Mrs. Clinton states in her video, "We should be careful what we sow, because we will have to harvest." The US *funds* and trains these organizations, thinking that we will have control over their actions if we keep giving them money and hinting at what they should do. Much like we armed Syrian rebels to help us "fight ISIS," which came out of Al Qaeda, and the Assad regime......... So we armed some rebels to fight some rebels. Again. I hope the good guys win.

It's all a ridiculous, farcical bunch of madness that is leading us down the path to destruction as a nation.

With all the sand we've been kicking in people's faces (especially Russia, North Korea, and China), I wouldn't be shocked at all to have half the WORLD turn against the dollar sometime in 2015. It's a race to see what happens first... Outside economic interference or the Dow tanks 30-40%. How exciting.

When China is buying all the high-priced real estate in the country, I don't see how that really reflects what's really going on... Sure, it LOOKS like everyone in America is buying a house, but when it's Daddy Hong Kong billionaire buying a house overseas for his daughter in order to hang out in Beverly Hills with all her Chinese friends, well... I guess we'll take the money where we can get it, right?
