Apparently, having food stores and extra ammo can get you on a "list."

So, indirectly, they might come sniffing around your property, if you are "prepping," so they can arrest you for resisting arrest when you weren't under arrest in the first place.

My advice to everyone is to not throw empty tin cans and food wrappers around where government or starving people can find them. Us fat folks will be either the last to starve or the first to be eaten.

There are links all over the net covering this,so even if your prepared Uncle Sam can still take anything they want from you during a crisis or martial law situation.It's written all over that if such circumstances arises and everyone goes to the grocery store and starts buying food within about 3 hours all stores shelves would be empty. Naturally there would be more food in transport to stores just as the case in everyday life.But I can imagine any truck going down the hiway that has Jewel-Osco or Piggly Wiggly would be probably stopped at gunpoint along an interstate and be cleaned out. Anyplace that processes meat or warehouses food would be targetted and there would NOT be enough National Guard warriors to guard everyplace this country manufactures food.
Those of us who can produce and raise our own food would be worried about feed ingredients such as corn and protein supplements like soybean meal,ect. Granted our country does have a huge surplus of carryover grain each season but I'm sure it too could be siezed by Uncle Sam,,since it is used to produce meat.
