Great job from Mt Healthy

Been looking around BYC for awhile, And even took advantage of some coop plans/ideas. This year decide to add to the girls..
I ordered 10 Black Australorpes and 5 Easter Eggers from Mt Healthy 2-4-14. I received conformation 2-5-14 that chicks would be shipped 2-12-14. Chicks were coming from Ohio to south Georgia. Well 2-12 was the start of one of the worst winter storms the south has ever seen. Ice storms power outages and general crappy weather. Boy was I surprised when the post office called 2-13-14 and said they had some chicks for for me. Even offered to bring them out to my business....1 day from Ohio to south Georgia in one day!!!! In the worst storm of the last several decades.
What a surprise to open the box to find 16 happy healthy little buggers glad to be in the warmer south. Chicks were in perfect condition and thrilled to get in to their new warm brooder. None of my employees could believe you can put chickens in a box in Ohio and send em to Georgia through the post office.
Thanks Mt Healthy. Chicks have been doing great so far. I will update in a week or so.

Thanks, Chicks are doing great. Just finishing a couple details on the coop and I'll post pics of chicks and coop.

I have had many orders shiped from Mnt. Healthy to our farm here in the mountains of Northeast PA over the past 12 years . Never had a bad experience with them . They have good healthy Chicks and their Broad Breasted Turkeys are second to none .
