This gave me goosebumps..

The only reason I can think of for him to go back inside the burning home would be to make sure everybody was out..

So sad...what a dog he must have been. Dogs give so much and ask for so little.

That just happened yesterday about a half-hour from my home. It was on the news this morning, but it didn't say what kind of dog he was. It made me cry reading it.

That story just breaks my heart. I lost a brother and a sister in a fire when I was 12. Our doberman pinscher, Misty, kept barking trying to get us all up to get out.

Jeter is now romping up there at the Rainbow Bridge with our Misty, who also gave up her life for us.

Thank you for sharing this remarkable story.
