Great Pyrenees young dog

Great Pyrenees pup/young dog, male. I'm not sure he is trustworthy with chickens and I have no way to separate them. He licks them until they are sloppy wet but so far hasn't tried to bite one. He occasionally chases them but not seriously. He is very friendly and will be a big dog. No shipping available, local buyer only.

How well does this breed handle the really hot temperatures in Florida?

I have one in Alabama and I give him a little trim and he does well with the heat. But he is npt one with the real thick hair.

He likes his baby pool when it gets hot. This picture was with it empty, but I keep a couple of inches of water in it and he loves it!

Very cute. If you dont get any takers we are looking to add a great pyrneese to our farm. We have one now and she is in need of a friend to help guard the farm.
