Hello,

We are new to raising chickens. This spring we brought 17 and when friends found out we were given 6 as gifts. We now have 22 very happy chickens. One was a cornish cross rock and passed away at 6 months. We had read that she should have been processed at 7 weeks, but since we wanted eggs we had not planned on learning about processing, so she lived a long life for a cornish cross rock.

We are happy to be able to interact with other chicken folk. We want blue eggs! Does anyone have any 4 month old Legbar pullets for sale?

Thanks,
bigegg

Have a look in the Buy ~ Sell ~ Trade section. You'll need about 20 posts before you can place one yourself though, so get busy!

Hi and welcome to BYC from northern Michigan :D

Legbars are a very rare breed right now, you may have trouble finding any without considerable cash - Greenfire is selling day-old pullet chicks for $59 each. Have you considered Ameraucanas or Easter Eggers? They are much more available and also lay lovely eggs.
