"good point." catie said. She hoped none of them would pay any mind to her not eating mortal food. It will be hard to sneak nectar and ambrosia during this quest, she thought. She wondered if she should tell them who she was, but she didn't want to lose her friends, especially acacia. She sipped some nectar from a camo water bottle absentmindedly, nervously twirling her hair.

"Catie, are you not hungry, or do you just have food packed for the road?" Piper was making sure that Catie didn't walk away from a good meal right before a quest.

"nah, I'm not hungry. I'll just sip my drink." she said, shaking the camo bottle.

"Okay, if you want you can grab some food for the road." said Finn.

"I already packed some" catie said, taking another sip. "when do we leave?" sheared as she swallowed.

"Right after we're all done breakfast," said Piper, "If you guys want, go back to your cabins just to double check you didn't leave anything, and we'll be off!"

"works for me, but I to everything. I'll be waiting by the pine tree on half blood hill." catie said with a smile. "but first, I'm gonna stop by the armory and get a recurve bow and some arrows. See ya in a few!" she said cheerily before jogging off, quick and quite as a cat, her feet barely touching the floor.

"I'm gonna go scan the cabin, be back soon." Finn trotted off. Piper followed her to the path where the cabins crossed. Afterward, Piper met Finn and they went to the pine tree to find Catie and Acacia-- jittering with excitement.
