Sam grinned. "the usual. Hey, did some girl from the Aphrodite cabin come screeching by a minute ago?"

"Um... No I didn't see one, but I heard a really loud screech from their cabin's direction..." said Faith, pointing to the Aphrodite cabin.

"o....k... That was weird." he said, nodding.

Sam rolled his eyes. "trust me, it hurts a heck of a lot worse than it feels." he grumbled, dashing into his cabin, grabbing a t shirt and sneakers.

Sam ran out of his cabin, faster than any human or demigod could. He came to sliding halt beside faith and Lexi. "I'm back!" he said, wondering who the girl that screamed at his back was.

Lexi smiled. "Heya, glad you're back." she said.

"Yes." Phoenix said, sipping her Necter. the flames around her increased in brightness with each sip. a plume of smoke floated off of her flip-flops. "this stuff's good." Phoenix said.

Sam walked beside the girls quietly.

Phoenix turned to him, Sparks flying off of her wings and her hair waving about in her own personal furnace. "Heya, Sam. How're you doing?" she said.

He shrugged. "had a weird night, you?" he said, obviously n shaken by the fact she was on fire. Chiron trotted up, glaring. "why we're you two in the same cabin, alone, last night?" he growled to Sam and Lexi.

Lexi sidestepped in between Sam and Chiron. "I can explain everything." she said.
