I have a plant that is doing well. It has covered a small fence that is 5 ft tall and ft wide. I have tons of white blooms but ZERO green beans? The soil was fertilized well and I use miracle grow from time-to-time. I dont really know what the deal is.

Make sure you don't overdo it with the fertilizer because that will make the plant put too much effort into growing, not the beans themselves. Also, if you have blooms, its should only be a short while until you start to see tiny little beans hanging there.

If you've got flowers, you'll have beans. Patience, grasshopper!

I've had blooms for 2 weeks that is what surprised me. I dont think I used to much fertilizer. I have planted a garden every year for the past 4 but never messed with green beans...mainly tomatoes and bell peppers for canning.

Well, for the first time I planted vining green beans, like yours they are everywhere and covered with flowers...have had flowers for a few weeks now...or so it seems? I have taken four ...4..large green beans off of the vines but not enough to do anything with. I am going to wait this one out.
I will try to remember..old people forget a lot...to only plant bush beans in the future.

Maybe they're not being pollinated? If they flower and no honeybees or butterflies or other helpers come to visit...no beans.

Have you been spraying for insects or anything like that?

This year beans are taking a lot longer to grow. Are yours bush or pole? We have bush as well as my dad and they are taking longer than average to produce. There are alot of gardeners who have commented on this. Our tomatoes, big boy and early girl, are not turning either. I think it has to do with the weather we've been having.

Just be patient, you'll get some!
