Apples and Oranges, Count Deercula. You are talking about pigment in paint, Qurus is talking about light. You can't make green light, it simply exists. And that most beautiful of pigments, chlorophyll, absorbs all other colors of light and transforms them into life itself. As I said before, green is the color of life. Red is the color of danger, and destruction. Poor redorps, I fear you have destroyed her, for the task of restoring her to greenness may be more than one person can achieve.

Precisely right Bunnylady. I was talking about light transmission, which is known to be a truer sense of color than mixing pigments from extracts in a flawed manner to acheive color combinations that are not-quite-perfect.
Additionally, I would add that the opponent process, wherein colors are perceived by humans in an antagonistic manner dictates that GREEN and RED are opponents, whereas BLUE is opposed by YELLOW. Again, this would argue that BLUE can remain guardedly neutral with GREEN and RED, but cannot abide the color of disease.

I would rescue Redorps, just for her wonderful picnics, but who am I to judge? Maybe she will be happier as a RED. Also, if I rescue her, how could I turn her back green. I'm fairly certain that I helped her out, she would fall prey to the aqua effect and would evaporate. I just hope she doesn't try to bite me. I couldn't abide being PURPLE!
