I am really getting quite concerned about Sour. Either he has begun to creep slowly into dementia or he has given up on his will to continue functioning. FIRST...he implies that Em should get pregnant....and then, as if that were not enough to have MFB seek him out and do drastic damage, BUT THEN he outright insults Redhen. Now that may have been just too much, if you want to talk about "muchness." I happen to know that Red is really too much so she could not have lost her "muchness."

And what is this about beginning to creep into dementia? You're far more observant than that.

Alas, it is true - Red has lost her "muchness." It was a very muchy muchness, too. The thought that really terrifies, though, is - what if someone else finds Red's muchness? If they have a muchness of their own, when combined with Red's, it would definitely be a "toomuchofamuchness". And while a certain amount of muchness may be a good thing, I can't believe anyone could believe that a toomuchofamuchness could even approach being too much of a good thing.

A sibling for Lily is...a scary thought indeed. Lillian already is so much like me...add MFB's genetics into the mix and we might just have a recipe for the Antichrist.
