The Princess suggested that I should mow the lawn. When I told her that the yellow of the dandelions against the green grass made a pretty sight that I did not want to disrupt she gave me 'the look'.



I didn't mow lawn.

Dandelions are wonderful chicken feed. I refuse to pull out the roots, I want them to regrow.

As always the indomitable force AKA 'The Princess' or 'The Bulldog' won out, and I mowed the lawn. With every little YELLOW dandelion head that I sheared off, I thought of dear, dear Redhen.

the POOR LITTLE FLOWERS!!!!!!! did you at least bag them up for the chickens.

I bagged them and all of the lawn spiders, and they are on their way to Massachusetts as a gift to Redhen.
