Some years (back when I grew tomatoes) I would harvest buckets of green ones. They will ripen in a box in layers, with newspaper between them if you have lots (but check often for mold), or on a window sill if you have a few.GREEN the last tomatoes I picked yesterday. Yes, 11/11 and there were still tomatoes on my plants. Don't know if they will ripen or not, but I'll chance it.
The picture in my mind... of entire plants dangling from the ceiling... PRICELESS!Window sill works to some degree as does the newspaper deal. Best luck I had was hanging whole plants in the cellar. Looked pretty neat, but the Princess was not impressed.
