Okay, I live in South Eastern, Pa. I read in another thread about an upcoming auction at the Green Dragon Farmers Market In Ephrata, Pa on May 12th. There seemed to be much excitement about it, and I only live an hour away, so naturally I'm curious. I looked it up on line but found no special mention of May 12th. Please tell me exactly what will go on there on that date. Please be specific. Thank You.

Hey Michelle!

I just reposted directly from Wyandotte86 about the Special Saturday sale at Green Dragon at the end of the Pennsylvania Unite Thread. I would repost here, except I'm computer in~ept. : )

The Basics are: Sale: 10 am you can bring your birds as early as 6am.

Address: 955 North State St, Ephrata, PA 17522

Exotics, Poultry, Small Mammal

also for you south east PA people. there is an auction every tuesday in Elmer NJ. It is located at Cedar Lane Feeds. lots of eggs and different birds from ducks to chickens to turkeys

I'm still trying to explain to hubby why I need to be at The Green Dragon Saturday. It IS entirely possible to go and NOT come home with more chickens that he will have to build a new run for Right? Men really can be so unreasonable sometimes. (I am totally joking), he has built me brooders, coops, runs, building another coop now for Silkies and he's great AND PATIENT.

I have been to the Green dragon auctions and have had others attend and report back. Be very careful there are many 'unsavory' people who sell at this auction. I'm sure that there are plenty of good people but there are also those who bring sick birds and animals there to get rid of them on unsuspecting buyers. This place definitely has a reputation....I only live 15 minutes away and have only been there once in 27 years.
